An integrated hydro-engineering investment in the Port of Gdynia comprising the deepening of the approach fairway and the port's internal basins to a level of -16.00 m, widening of the internal entrance by 40 m (to 140 m), and rebuilding of Turning Basin No. 2 to a diameter of 480 m in the area of Basin IX. The Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. (Zarząd Morskiego Portu Gdynia S.A.) was responsible for deepening the internal basins and rebuilding the quays, and the Maritime Office in Gdynia for deepening the approach fairway (stage II). The undertaking was co-financed from European Union funds under the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2014–2020. Delivery of the investment ran in the years 2014–2026; one of its key stages, the rebuilt Helskie Quay, was put into service in February 2026.
