Baltic Hub T3 – the third deep-water container terminal in Gdańsk
The third deep-water container terminal (T3) at Baltic Hub in the Port of Gdańsk, built in the years 2022–2025 on an artificially reclaimed peninsula with an area of 36 ha, with a quay 717 m long and 17.5 m deep. The investment, worth approximately PLN 2 billion (approximately EUR 470 million), was delivered on behalf of Baltic Hub by a consortium of Budimex and DEME (Dredging International). The terminal was officially opened on 6 June 2025, and reached full operability at the beginning of October 2025; Baltic Hub's handling capacity increased by 1.5 million TEU, to 4.5 million TEU per year.

Significance
The expansion strengthened Gdańsk's position as the largest container hub on the Baltic: in 2025 Baltic Hub handled a record 2,767,287 TEU (23% more than a year earlier), serving 763 vessels and 9,362 container trains. The new pier physically enlarged the port's operational area by 36 ha reclaimed from the sea, and the additional 1.5 million TEU of handling capacity strengthens Poland's role in the maritime supply chains of Central and Eastern Europe.
