GLADIUS (BSP-U) is a reconnaissance-strike unmanned aerial system produced by the WB Group (WB Electronics). On 28 May 2026 in Ożarów Mazowiecki, the Armaments Agency (Agencja Uzbrojenia) of the Polish Ministry of National Defence, representing the State Treasury, and the WB Group signed a contract for the delivery of 12 battery fire modules of GLADIUS. The contract is worth 9,311,212.0 thousand PLN, i.e. about 9.31 billion PLN. Deliveries are to be completed by 2030. The contract is financed from European Union funds under the SAFE mechanism, whose funds are channelled to Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego for the Armed Forces Support Fund (Fundusz Wsparcia Sił Zbrojnych). The GLADIUS contract was signed together with contracts for FlyEye systems and Warmate loitering munitions; according to the parties, these are the largest contracts for comprehensive reconnaissance-strike solutions concluded so far not only in Poland but in all of Europe. Production is carried out in Poland, including in Skarżysko-Kamienna, Czechowice-Dziedzice, Gliwice, Gdynia and Lipka Krajeńska.

Significance
The GLADIUS contract, worth about 9.31 billion PLN, is financed from the European SAFE instrument, whose funds flow through Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego into the Armed Forces Support Fund.
